The sixth Shi‘a Imam (a) was born on a Monday             or Friday on the 17th of Rabi’ul Awwal 83 or 86 A.H.        He was born on the same day the Prophet was        born about 136 years earlier. Imam al-Sadiq (AS)       was martyred by the poisonous grapes                Mansur (Unpopular & Corrupt Ruler) had him           eat. Imam al-al-Sadiq was martyred on the                25th of Shawwal in the year 148 A.H. at the age of 63.
